Let's Talk About Me

*My name is Patrick Nugent.

*I like to make pretty moving picture things.

*I am currently and have been for the past 3 years the motion graphics designer for the Nickelodeon Theater in Columbia, SC.

*I am a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina with degrees in both Psychology and Media Arts

*My films have won awards at the Indie Grits Film Festival and the annual USC Mediafest

*I have had commercials broadcast on television and animated educational films shown at the SC State Museum

*I have interned at both the Nickelodeon Theater (theater & film festival operations) and Mad Monkey Inc. (animation & compositing) in Columbia, SC

*I prefer films that step out of that old proverbial box visually and use visual effects and style to further the story and manipulate the audience.
